Our company has recently changed hands from the Founder Gail George to her long-time employee and personal friend Sheila Thomas.
Sheila has been the glue that has kept this company rolling while Gail enjoyed some early retirement time in warmer weather. So it is business as usual for Sheila, just with some added tasks and a title change.
As many of you may know Sheila has been with Liberty Carpet for over 15 years. When you call she will probably answer the phone, and she can tell you where your flooring is, how much it costs, and when it will be installed!! Now she writes the paychecks as well!! So what we are trying to say is you are getting the quality and experience you and your parents have always know from Liberty Carpet just with an update!
Liberty Carpet draws customers from Northeastern, PA, and Southern Tier of NY with a considerable number of clientele coming from Greater Binghamton. The store is located just a short distance from the NY/PA border and just a short distance off the Hallstead, PA exit. In addition, Gail also works with customers from surrounding areas, including out-of-towners from Philadelphia, New York City and New Jersey staying at their second homes during the summer months.
